Guitarist

Hailing from Avon, Ohio, guitarist Joey DeRonde has been chasing riffs since the age of nine. He first cut his teeth at Guitar Center and the Avon School of Music before honing his craft at Ron Zehel Guitar Center in Avon Lake, where he became a dedicated student of the Rock Academy.

 Soon after, Joey joined the high-energy band Running With Scissors (RWS), quickly making waves across Ohio’s rock scene. With countless gigs under their belt, RWS’s breakout moment came when they stormed the stage at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, becoming the youngest band in 27 years to reach the finals of the Tri-C High School Rock Off in 2024, the band carried that momentum into the 2025 Rock Off at Mercury Music Lounge in Lakewood, earning the title of Fan Favorite.

 Joey continues to sharpen his skills through the Rock Academy program at Ron Zehel and additional training at Rocktown in Lorain, Ohio. When he’s not on stage or in the rehearsal room, he’s jamming with friends, always exploring new sounds on his Charvel, PRS, Fender Strat, and SBS guitars.

 With a love for music that’s as relentless as his playing, Joey is carving out his place as one of Ohio’s rising guitarists to watch.

Pianist

Seraphina Jia is a self-taught musician with a genuine love for making and sharing music. She sparked her musical journey on the piano, picking up trumpet and many other instruments along the way.  Seraphina enjoys exploring new sounds and performing on stage, where she connects with others through the energy and joy of live music.

Bassist

Growing up in a musical family, Ally was surrounded by music from the start and took to it the moment she sat behind the piano. She developed her reading skills and ear training through piano lessons, but before long, her curiosity led her to pick up the guitar—and soon after, the bass, the instrument she instantly connected with.

 

Her time with School of Rock and her school’s jazz band deepened her love for music and accelerated her growth; all she wanted to do was practice and play. It wasn’t long before she earned a reputation as a rising star—a strong, driven young musician whose talent was impossible to miss. Through recommendations and introductions, she found the perfect opportunity with Brady to continue her musical journey.

Drummer

Joey is a 14-year-old drummer who’s been keeping the beat since before he could tie his shoes. At just 2 years old, his grandparents gave him his first full drum kit, and from that moment on, rhythm became second nature. By 8, he was performing with School of Rock, where he eventually met Brady and enjoyed the energy of playing on stage with her. 

 

Versatile and passionate, Joey moves easily between heavy metal, funk, rock, and more, always chasing new sounds and finding fresh ways to bring music to life. For him, drumming isn’t just about keeping time—it’s about energy, connection, and having fun.  Joey is thrilled to team up with Brady and can’t wait to share their music with the world.
